OUR APPROACH
We make what we
wished existed.
Aftercare for the people who take their work seriously — the artists making it, and the clients carrying it.
Beginnings
Built in the studio.
Inkwell Co. started where every honest product starts — with a frustration. Working artists were sending clients home with packets of whatever the supply catalog had on sale, knowing the formulas were either too occlusive, too fragranced, or simply not designed for what fresh ink actually needs.
We spent two years working with dermatologists, formulators, and the tattoo artists we trust to build a line from scratch. No filler ingredients. No fragrance. No marketing claims we couldn’t back up in the studio.
What we made is what we wanted: a small, deliberate collection that takes the tattoo from chair to healed to preserved, and treats every stage with the care it deserves.
01
Restraint
We make six products. Not sixty. Each one earns its place in the line, or it doesn’t ship.
02
Evidence
Every claim on our packaging traces back to a study, a dermatologist, or a working artist. We don’t guess.
03
Skin first
Tattoos live on skin. The healthier the skin, the better the work holds. We formulate for the skin first and the ink follows.
Who Makes This
A small team. By design.
Inkwell Co. is a team of seven, based in British Columbia. We work with a network of tattoo artists, formulation chemists, and a consulting dermatologist across North America. We answer our own emails. We test every batch before it ships.
